Bag lunches ending soon! Here is the schedule for the remaining days of the bag lunches: Thursday, May 28th – Meals for Thursday through Sunday. Monday, June 1st – Last day of Meals! You will receive meals for Monday and Tuesday, as Tuesday would have been the last day of school. We have enjoyed being able to offer this service. Have a great summer! Stay healthy and safe!

GREETINGS RAIDER NATION! As you may know by now, we unfortunately will not be able to invite anyone other than immediate family to our graduation ceremony this year. However Central Public Schools will be broadcasting the graduation beginning at 5:45 PM on KLGB Radio (1310 AM/96.1 FM). If you have friends and family that would like to listen to our graduation ceremony and live outside the radio play area, I would encourage you to download the KLGB App, which can be found at https://www.radio.net/s/kglb . The Central school district is going to be holding a staff parade. This is a way for staff and student’s to wave goodbye and share in some positive memories before summer. This parade will be held on Thursday, May 28th, 2020 from 12pm-3pm The following times are approximate: 12:00pm - Start the parade through NYA 1:30pm - Arrive in Hamburg 2:15pm - Arrive in Cologne The order of the parade is flexible, but we will attempt to have ECFE, Elementary, Middle, then High School. Please see the attached routes for each town so that you can find a space on the route if we aren’t going to the street you live on. We hope to see you all out there!

SENIOR HONOR STUDENTS Each year KDUZ 1260 AM and 96.5 FM present the “BEST OF THE CLASS" with their Senor Scholar Interviews. This year the two CHS Seniors are Kennedy Pexa and Erin Schultz. Their interviews will air on May 8, 2020 at 3:35 p.m. CONGRATULATIONS Kennedy & Erin!!

SENIORS A NEW LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP IS NOW AVAILABLE! Pro Auto Repair in NYA is offering two $500 scholarships to a senior who will be pursuing a degree in Automotive Repair, Diesel Truck Repair or Small Engine Repair. HURRY this scholarship is due May 11, 2020!

Due to road construction, the Hamburg lunch pickup and book drive will be moved to the Hamburg Park for Monday, April 27th and Thursday April 30th. Lunch pickup and book drive in Cologne and NYA will continue at the regular locations.

The Elementary Library has received many new and gently used books and we would like to give back to our students. Please stop by any of the lunch pick up locations on Monday, April 27th or Thursday, April 30th and help yourself to some free books! Reminder that the lunch pick up sites are in Hamburg, NYA and Cologne and run from 7:00-9:00 a.m.

Central High School’s Prom that was scheduled for May 2nd has been cancelled. However, we are waiting for information from the State of Minnesota which may allow us to postpone the event and reschedule to a smaller, less formal opportunity for our students. We will continue to look into all viable options and keep you updated as we receive information. If you have already purchased a ticket to prom you will receive a full refund.
