Raider Field House

Community members in Norwood Young America have a new option for indoor activity thanks to the Raider Field House. The opening of the space marks the completion of phase three of the extensive remodel and expansion project approved by the Central Public Schools community. This latest development is particularly noteworthy due to the collaborative effort with the City of Norwood Young America, resulting in a multifunctional space that benefits both students and the wider community that will increase opportunities to get active.

Residents of ISD 108 as well as anyone who attends school at Central Public Schools can now enjoy free access to the fieldhouse for walking and exercise, promoting health and wellness throughout the community as well as a stronger connection to school facilities beyond the regular school day.
The facility offers not only the walking track but also courts that can be utilized when not reserved for practices or leagues. This dual availability ensures that the Raider Field House serves as a hub for both scheduled athletic events and spontaneous recreational use.

The Raider Field House is more than just a physical space! It represents the spirit of community and the value placed on health and recreation for all ages. Central Public Schools and the City of Norwood Young America have created a place where residents can gather, stay active, and build a stronger community bond through exercise and connection.

We invite community members to come and explore the new Raider Field House, take advantage of its offerings, and be part of this vibrant addition to our community!
