Any students wishing to take the ACT test on April 17, 2021 must register online at www.act.org/bts  by March 12, 2021. The cost of the test is $55 and students must register on their own.  The test will be given here at CHS. This should  not  be confused with the STATE ACT test which will be given to the junior class on April 13th free of charge.  Ms. Schmidt will be registering the class for that test.

Earlier today I phoned and emailed you explaining the burst pipe situation at the elementary school. I am pleased to inform you that everything is fixed and school will be in session tomorrow! Following dismissal today, a water pipe burst at the elementary school in the boiler room. The NYA Fire Department and Carver County Sheriff's Office responded to the alarm that was triggered. Everyone is ok, however we are assessing the damage, the availability of heat and water for tomorrow, and any other damage caused by this. I am messaging you now to say there is a possibility that we may have to cancel school for 2.17.21 at the elementary school only. All evening activities at the elementary school, including ECFE and 5th grade boys basketball, are cancelled for tonight. I will update you on the status of school tomorrow by 10pm tonight when I know more. There is a possibility we will be calling an "e-Learning" day. Kids Company families are encouraged to come pick-up their children as soon as possible as we do not have usable bathrooms at this time. Tim Schochenmaier Superintendent
