KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

We welcome you to the Central Public Schools Community. Our elementary school embraces approximately 400 students in grades K-5 from the communities of Hamburg, Norwood Young America and Cologne.

We truly have the best of both worlds - all the opportunities of a metro district with a rural, hometown feel.

We can proudly say we have the smallest class sizes in the metro area while offering a challenging standards-based academic program the consistently scores above the state average.

Our small class sizes allow us to meet each student's unique learning needs and develop powerful relationships that last a lifetime

In addition, our many extracurricular activities include AAA, band choir, Math Masters and science fair as well as a large variety of programs offered through community education.

We are grateful for strong community support pf our November 2021 bond referendum and are on schedule to provide upgraded, renovated, world class facilities for our students.  Construction begins in the spring of this year with completion scheduled for summer of 2024.

Thursday February 17 6:00-7:00PM at Central Elementary (655 7th Street S.W.)

Atrium: Parent information and registration assistance

Activities: All children turning 5 before September 1, 2022 are invited to participate in entertaining activities with kindergarten teachers

Childcare: will be provided for siblings
