This past week, students at Central Elementary took part in a Storybook walk of the picture book Water is Water by Miranda Paul.
Pages of this book were set up on yard signs in the grass, outside the school building. As the students followed a path to read the book, they pretended they were tiny water droplets bouncing, jumping, and twirling from page to page.
It was a fun way to promote literacy, learn about the water cycle, and enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
A big thank you to the Carver County Library for sponsoring this activity!
